I offer lip blush tattooing from my licensed, private studio inside Dumb Blonde Hair Salon in Worthing, West Sussex. The space is calm, professional, and perfect for your semi-permanent makeup treatments.

Yes — all clients must complete a patch test at least 48 hours before treatment. If you're travelling from outside the area, I offer a postal patch test option when you book online. It’s a quick and easy way to stay safe and ready for your appointment.

Yes — lip blush works beautifully on lips with filler. It can enhance the shape and add soft colour, complementing the volume from filler. You’ll just need to allow at least 2 weeks between your filler and tattooing appointment so the lips have fully settled.

Yes! Those little white dots are called Fordyce spots and they’re completely normal. They’re not a contraindication to treatment and won’t affect the healed results. In many cases, lip blush can help minimise the appearance of uneven tone across the lips, including areas with Fordyce spots.

Right after treatment, your lips will appear brighter and more defined —this is completely normal. The colour will soften by up to 30% during the healing process, leaving a natural tint. Full results are visible after 4–6 weeks.

We’ll go through this in your pre-treatment consultation. I’ll help you choose a shade that complements your skin tone, undertones, and personal style. Whether you want a barely-there blush, a nude tone, or a soft pop of colour, your pigment will be completely customised to you.

Healing takes around 7–10 days. You might experience mild swelling, flaking, and temporary darkening of the pigment. You’ll receive full aftercare instructions and support to make healing easy and smooth.

Lip blush is usually well tolerated. I use a high-strength numbing cream before and during treatment to keep discomfort to a minimum. Most clients say the sensation is manageable and worth the results.

You’ll need to avoid lipstick and makeup on the lips during the healing phase. Once healed, you can go back to wearing products as normal—though many clients love their results so much, they don’t feel the need to!

Yes — lip blush is ideal for balancing asymmetry, improving lip shape, and giving a more harmonious appearance. It’s great for correcting faded borders and restoring youthful definition.

Lip blush typically lasts 2–3 years, gradually fading over time. You can book a top-up or colour boost every 12–18 months to maintain your desired look.
