Policies & Client Information
At By Rachel Jade, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Please take a moment to read through our policies before booking your treatment. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following terms:
Age Requirement
All clients must be 18 years or older. A valid photo ID must be presented at your appointment. If you are unable to provide ID, your treatment may be refused.
Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £50 is required for all treatments.
If the full amount is paid in advance, it is also non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
Patch Test Policy

Laser Tattoo Removal: A patch test is mandatory at least 7 days before treatment. If more than 6 months have passed since your last session, a new patch test is required.

Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU): Your patch test will be posted to your home. If you don’t receive it within 5 days of booking, please contact Rachel directly via Instagram @byracheljade or call 07581 402956. It is your responsibility to notify us if it hasn’t arrived.

Lash Extensions: A patch test is optional but recommended if you are new to lash extensions or have sensitive skin. You can book a test at least 48 hours in advance.

LVL & Brow Tint: A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to complete this may result in your treatment being refused.

Tiny Tattoos: A patch test is recommended 24 hours before your appointment to ensure there is no reaction to the ink or tools. This will also be sent to your home address.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

Rescheduling with less than 1 week's notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.

Cancelling with less than 72 hours’ notice or failing to attend your appointment will result in a charge of the full treatment cost.

Any changes must be communicated as early as possible.
Card Capture & Authorisation
Your card details are securely stored via our booking system. By booking, you authorise us to charge your card in line with the cancellation, lateness, and no-show policies.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and 100% of the treatment cost will be charged.
Health Restrictions
Treatments cannot be carried out if you:

Have an active infection

Have taken antibiotics in the last 4 weeks
Failure to inform us of these conditions will result in loss of your deposit.
Unexpected Circumstances
We understand that life happens. We’ll always do our best to accommodate unexpected changes wherever possible, but policies still apply.
No Additional Guests
For safety and hygiene reasons, no friends, family, or pets are allowed at your appointment. (Guide dogs are welcome.)
Agreement
By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. These policies are in place to protect both the client and the practitioner.

Ordering Products
Orders are placed via a completed online form and confirmed by email. A binding contract is created upon dispatch of confirmation email.
Once an order is placed, we cannot cancel or amend it due to immediate dispatch processing.
The Price and Payment
Prices shown include VAT (if applicable) but exclude delivery.
Payment is via credit/debit card or PayPal at checkout. If an error in pricing occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you.
Delivery of Products
Products are delivered as per the address provided. We are not liable for delays or delivery failures due to inadequate instructions.
Faulty items must be reported within 14 days. If confirmed, we will refund or replace and cover shipping costs.
You must notify us of any delivery issues within 7 days.
Cancelling Orders
You may cancel an order within 14 days of delivery. Products must be returned unused and at your own cost.
Opened or used products cannot be cancelled, even if sent in error. Statutory rights are unaffected.
General Terms
Products are sold to both consumers and professionals.
Contracts are governed by English law and English courts have jurisdiction.
The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply.
Professional Products
By purchasing professional products, you confirm you are certified to use them. We are not liable for misuse due to lack of training.
Training Products (Ebooks)
By purchasing an ebook/manual, you confirm you are a trained professional. No certification is required at checkout, but we hold no liability for misuse by untrained individuals.

Booking & Cancellations

All booking fees are non-refundable.

If you cancel with less than 14 days' notice, no refund will be given unless we can fill your space.

If we fill your space, you will receive a full refund.
Late Arrival & No Show

Please notify us if you are running late. We allow a 5-minute grace period. After this, the course starts without you.

No-shows are non-refundable.
Rescheduling
We’ll try to move you to a future course if space allows.
Cancellation by Us
If we must cancel due to low numbers or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund your course fee in full. No other compensation will be provided.
