Pre-Treatment Guidelines

To ensure optimal results, follow these pre-treatment instructions:

🚫 Avoid makeup on the treatment area on the day of your session.

☕ No caffeine for at least 4 hours before your appointment.

🍷 No alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.

💊 Avoid fish oil & vitamin E (natural blood thinners) for one week.

🌞 No sun exposure or tanning for 30 days before treatment.

💆‍♀️ No facials, chemical peels, or strong skincare products for 2 weeks before treatment.

🩸 Stop using retinol & vitamin A products at least 4 weeks prior.

⚠️ Avoid aspirin & ibuprofen for 2 days before treatment, as they thin the blood and increase bruising risk.

✔ A patch test is required before your first session .

Are You a Good Candidate for Laser Removal?

It may be time to remove your tattoo if:

✅ Your permanent makeup has faded to an undesirable shade (grey, blue, red, or orange).

✅ You’re unhappy with the shape of a previous permanent makeup procedure.

✅ You want a fresh start before getting a new PMU treatment.

Post-Treatment Care & Healing Process

📌 Follow aftercare for at least 7 days post-treatment to ensure the best healing results.

Cleaning Routine:

✅ Step 1: A dry, sterile dressing may be placed over the treated area to prevent irritation from clothing.

✅ Step 2: Expect mild swelling & redness immediately after treatment – this will subside within 48 hours.

✅ Step 3: If the area is unbroken, apply Aloe Vera Gel to soothe discomfort and reduce the heat sensation.

✅ Step 4: Do not apply ice directly on the treated area. Instead, wrap ice in a clean cloth.

✅ Step 5: If the area feels hot, use a cold compress (ice packs wrapped in a cloth) to cool it down.

✅ Step 6: Aloe Vera Gel can also help with any itching that occurs post-treatment.

What to Avoid After Treatment:

🚫 No direct sun exposure or tanning (sunbeds/self-tan) for at least 2 weeks to prevent hyperpigmentation.

🚫 Avoid heat treatments (spas, steam rooms, saunas) for 7 days.

🚫 No shaving on the treated area for 72 hours post-treatment.

🚫 Avoid exercise for at least 48 hours.

🚫 No hot baths or showers for 48 hours.

🚫 Avoid chlorinated water (swimming pools) for 48 hours.

🚫 No makeup on the treated area for at least 48 hours.

🚫 Avoid perfumed products & bleaching creams for 48 hours.

🚫 Do not scratch the area if blistering or crusting occurs, as this can lead to scarring.

🚫 No waxing, tweezing, or threading during the treatment course.

🚫 Avoid scrubbing or applying pressure to the area for 4-5 days to prevent infection.

Healing Stages & Aftercare Tips:

✔ Apply an ice pack to reduce discomfort or irritation.

✔ Use Aloe Vera Gel or soothing creams for 3 days post-treatment.

✔ Wear loose clothing to prevent friction on the area for 48 hours.

✔ Keep the treated area clean and dry for 48 hours.

✔ Drink plenty of water to support healing.

✔ Use SPF 50 sunscreen with zinc for at least 2 weeks post-treatment.
